I. BOOKING

a)What is my eligibility to book an IndusGo Car? You should be of 18 years old & above & must possess a valid LMV non transport driving license for a minimum of 1 year.

b)How can I reserve IndusGo Car? You can make a booking through our website www.indusgo.in or can book through our call center at 9539580000.

c)Can I book for any period of time? You can make the booking minimum of 3 hours & maximum of 1 year. In weekend, you should make the booking at least of 12 hours.

d)Can I Opt car for a longer period? Yes, you can rent car for a longer period. We have options for that.

e)Are there any peak/off seasons for Indus Go cars? What will be rate difference in such case? Yes, we have peak/off seasons and rate vary accordingly.

f)Can I book one-way Trip? Yes, one-way trip book is possible with Indus Go.

g)Can I book Indus Go car along with driver? No, you have no option for that.

h)Is there home delivery option available? Yes, Car will come at your doorstep

i)How can I make the payment? You can make the payment via debit/credit/net banking/Paytm. All payment has to be made in advance through our website or mobile app. We do not accept cash

j)How can I modify or extend my reservation? You can extend/modify the reservation through online and off line.

k)How can I cancel my reservation? You can cancel the reservation through online/offline.

l)Do I need to pay, if I cancel my booking? You may have to. We have precise cancellation norms.

Cancellation/ charges Users can cancel the booking subject to the following conditions and charges. Cancellation refund will be done through the original payment method within 7- 10 working days

II. LOCATION & TYPE OF CARS

a)Where are the locations to pick Indus Go cars? Indus Go car has locations at Kochi, Trivandrum, Calicut, Palakkad, Trissur & Kannur, Tirur, Kottayam. You can visit our website www.indusgo.in to view the hub details

b)What type of vehicles does Indus Go offer? Indus Go offers a wide range of cars in Hatchbacks, Sedans, SUVs & Luxury segments

c)Do the Indus Go cars have both manual/automatic transmissions? Yes, Indus Go have both transmissions.

III. PICK UP

a)What all documents I need to bring to pick Indus Go car? You should bring the valid Aadhar Card, Original Driving License. If you are a foreigner/NRI, ID proof shall be your Original Passport.

b)Do I need to pick up the car from Indus Go location hub? Yes. Pick up is at Indus Go location hub

c)Can I take the car early? No, if you want to take the car early, please re-schedule your booking.

d)Does my friend/relative can pick the Indus Go car from location hub? No, Car will be delivered to the same person whose details have been captured in our reservation form & who’s ID Proof/Driving License been collected.

e)What is the procedure to opt home delivery? You can choose the option at the time of booking

IV. INTERSTATE TRAVEL

a)Is there any restriction for me to travel with Indus Go Car? No, all IndusGo cars have valid All India Permit.

b)What are the requirements when I drive across State Border? Each state has different procedure. All state will require a valid entry permit that shall be obtained at the border RTO station after paying the relevant tolls/taxes. All the IndusGo car shall contain the copies of RC, Insurance and All India Permit. Indus Go call center < 9539580000 will be available 24 hrs. to ensure proper support & guidance to customer & concern RTO, if any issue arises

c)Do I need to pay any amount to cross the border? Yes. You have to pay the amount as per the applicable law of the state which you intend to cross/travel and Indus go will not refund the said amount.

V. FEE POLICY

a) Is there any taxes include in this rental? Yes, All the prices mentioned is inclusive of GST.

b) Is there any Security Deposit? Yes, we have security deposit in practice.

c) What is the policy for security Deposit? Many of the customers wish to travel extra far away destination; in such cases, they will have some additional charges at the end of their booking based on the traveled distances. Also we could not ignore the chances of damages at the time of travel/drive. This deposit will be a security against such cases & your payment will be cleared after such adjustments, if any.

d)How much time will you take to refund the security deposit? 5 to 12 working days

e)Who pay for the tolls? Customer has to pay the tolls.

f)What are the extension charges? Based on the extended periods

g)Who pay for parking? Customer pays the parking fee

h)Do I need to pay commercial Road Tax? No, it is not needed.

VI. FINE & PENALTIES

a)Who will pay for parking & traffic violation? How will be charged? Customer has to pay for such violations. It depends.

b)What are the fines that Indus Go car levies on the customer? Customers are requested not to exceed speed above 80 KM/h. each penalty fine of Rs. 1500 will be charged.

VII. FUEL POLICY

a)Whether the car will be delivered with fuel in Without fuel package? Yes car will be filled with fuel. You must return with same amount of fuel when you drop the car.

b) Who pays fuel for without fuel Package? Customer has to pay for the fuel package.

c) How shall I reimburse, if I Fill my own fuel? No Reimbursement.There is no option to refund or adjust extra fuel filled. Customers should not fill more than their expected usage.

d) Whether I need to fuel the vehicle, when it returns? If you opt no fuel, fuel level should be same as beginning of the Trip. Otherwise you will be charged.

e) Whether I will be charged for the fuel usage? How? If no fuel, customer will be charged for the excess usage if the fuel level is below of the beginning level. Will not be charged if with fuel,

VIII. DROP

a)Can I drop off the car at a different location? Yes, you can drop anywhere at our Hub < Kerala

b)Where can I return the vehicle, if the location is closed? We are working at 24 *7 hours

c)If I return the car ahead of my reservation time, shall I receive the credit? No, it cannot be done.

d)How I will be charged, if I return the care late? Based on the extra hours & extra kilometers

IX. ACCIDENT/DAMAGE/LOSS

a)What should I do in case of an accident? You should inform the nearby police station at first & can reach out to our Customer Care Team < 9539580000. Copy of the FIR/GD/acknowledgment from the Police should be hand over to the Indus Go Office. You should bear the damage cost as per the estimation report The damage assessment by Indus Go shall be final.

b) How I will be penalized, if the car gets damage by a third party? You shall be liable for the damages done by a third party over & above the insurance amount.

c) What shall I do, if the car breaks down? You can call our 24*7 held desk < 9539580000

d) What shall I do, if the car gets stolen? You should inform the nearby police station at first & can reach out to our Customer Care Team < 9539580000. Copy of the FIR/GD/acknowledgment from the Police should be hand over to the Indus Go Office.

GENERAL

a)Can I hand over the car to any of my relatives/friends for their use? No, you cannot handover the car to anybody.

b)Can I take pet along with me? No, you cannot take pet along with you and travel in Indus Go.

c)What is the insurance coverage? Indus Go provided unlimited Third Party Insurance; however a damage fee/ compensation will be applied, if the customer is involved in an accident. Customer shall be liable for all loss & damages, if the claim denies due to of any policy violation from the part of the customer. Customer will be obliged to pay the repair cost /damage fee as per the estimation report. The cost/damage fee will be deducted from the security deposit. If such cost exceeds the security deposit,(after the clearance of late return, excess Km so on) then customer will be liable to pay the excess amount.

d)What if the car is damaged? A damage fee will be applied in case of damages. Customers will be obliged to pay the repair cost/part damages as per the estimation report.

e)Is there any KM limit for drive? Based on choice.

f)Is there a speed limit? As per the state rule.

g)What is the kilometer/mileage policy? Based on opted vehicle.

h)Do I face any problem in driving a car with a commercial number plate? It is not allowed as per law.

i)How do I unlock my Indus Go car? You can unlock the Indus Go car through Indus Go App. In case of any issue, you can reach us < 9539580000.

j)What can I do, if the car is not unlocking? You can call to our call center < 9539580000.

k)How many times can I opt Keyless entry (KLE)? You can opt only once, in case of any issue you can reach us < 9539580000.

Q1. HOW CAN I BOOK A CAR FROM INDUSGO?

  • Choose your pick-up and drop-off location and date

  • Start searching

  • Choose your car from the list shown and click ‘Book now’.

  • You will be forwarded to payment options, where you can choose your mode of payment And there you go; your booked car will be delivered to your pickup point.

Q2. WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS NEEDED WHILE TAKING DELIVERY OF THE CAR?

For a car handover, the user needs to provide the following any of the below two documents for verification to the designated fleet executive:

  • Original driving license of the user

  • Valid ID Proof issued by the Government of India.

  • In the case of Foreign nativity, a copy of passport

Q3. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Users who cancel the booking will be subject to the following conditions and charges.

  • The cancellation refund will be done through the original payment method within 7- 10 working days basis below policy

  • Cancellation within 48 hours to 24 hours from the trip start time -50% of rental amount charged

  • Cancellation within or before 48 hours from the trip start time-25% of rental amount charged

  • Cancellation within 24 hours from the trip start time-No refund

Q4. WHAT IS THE DURATION OF BOOKING?

A customer can book the car for a minimum of 4 hours to as long as you wish. Usually, the users can avail of the discount for long trips and longer booking rental durations.

Q5. CAN I DROP THE CAR OFF AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION THAN WHERE I PICKED IT UP?

Yes, you can get your car from anywhere and leave your car at any other IndusGo showrooms operated in 18 locations of Kerala and Tamilnadu

Q6.WHAT ARE THE FUEL OPTIONS?

IndusGo offers self Drive Cars with or without fuel options The users shall be intimated about the fuel level in the car at the time of hand over. The user shall be responsible for returning the vehicle with the same fuel levels.

Q7. WHICH ARE THE LOCATIONS OF YOUR AVAILABLE SERVICES?

IndusGo has services available over 18 locations across Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Kannur, Calicut, Wayanad, Thrissur, Kochi, Kottayam, Trivandrum, and Chennai are the main locations and there are services in many cities, airports, and railway stations across the above locations

Q8. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?’

  • Credit cards or debit cards

Q9.WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY RENTAL CAR GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT?

If the vehicle got into an accident, the user shall be responsible to pay the Damages Fee for the damages to the car regardless of cause, or who, or what caused it

  • Rs. 20,000 or the amount mentioned in the booking confirmation

  • Or if the cost of damage fee equivalent to the repair cost (as estimated by an authorized dealership) and downtime losses, up to a maximum of Rs. 20,000/-

This is independent of the nature & terms of the insurance cover that IndusGo will have on their cars.

However, In situations of irresponsible or unsafe or negligent usage of Indus Go cars, there could be discretionary exceptions to this policy, whereby the user could be liable for all damages irrespective of whether or not IndusGo is able to claim insurance in such cases. Such a situation includes, but are not limited to, in cases where the estimated damage charges exceed the security deposit, the customer will be requested to pay the same at the time of returning the car. In cases of non-payment, IndusGo reserves the right of legal action.

Q10. HOW CAN I EXTEND MY BOOKING?

Users can extend the booking time and shall inform IndusGo representative at least 3 hours before the booking end time. IndusGo shall grant the extension subject to the availability of the vehicle and extended hours shall be charged as per prevailing online rates at the time of extension.
